About the Unit

The Benchmarking and Opinion Surveys Unit, operating under the Vice Deanship for the Female Students’ Campus at the Deanship of Development and Quality, King Khalid University, is responsible for planning and conducting institutional and academic benchmarking activities, designing and administering opinion surveys, and assessing stakeholder satisfaction. The Unit analyzes results, prepares reports, identifies best practices at the local, regional, and international levels, and supports University entities in implementing benchmarking initiatives. It also develops relevant databases and performance indicators to support evidence-based decision-making, promote institutional excellence, and drive continuous improvement.

 
Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Plan and conduct institutional and academic benchmarking activities.

  2. Design and administer opinion surveys and assess stakeholder satisfaction.

  3. Analyze benchmarking and survey results and prepare analytical reports.

  4. Identify and monitor exemplary practices at the local, regional, and international levels, and facilitate their adoption.

  5. Support University entities in conducting and implementing benchmarking activities.

  6. Develop and maintain relevant databases and performance indicators.

  7. Prepare periodic reports on the Unit’s activities, achievements, progress, performance indicators, and challenges; submit them to the relevant administration; and propose solutions and opportunities for continuous improvement and development.
