About the Unit

The Partnerships and Marketing Unit, operating under the Continuing Education Office at the Deanship of Development and Quality, King Khalid University, is responsible for establishing and developing strategic partnerships with government entities, private-sector organizations, and nonprofit institutions, while promoting continuing education programs that respond to community and labor market needs. The Unit attracts prospective participants, develops collaboration opportunities and joint programs, and coordinates agreements and contracts. It also identifies revenue-generating opportunities, monitors partner and beneficiary satisfaction, and supports financial sustainability and the expansion of continuing education services.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement the partnership and marketing strategy for continuing education programs.
  2. Establish and strengthen partnerships with government entities, private-sector organizations, and nonprofit institutions, and manage relationships with these partners.
  3. Assess the needs of external stakeholders and translate them into opportunities for collaboration and joint programs.
  4. Develop marketing and promotional plans for continuing education programs.
  5. Attract prospective participants and organizations interested in continuing education programs.
  6. Coordinate the preparation and conclusion of memoranda of understanding, agreements, and contracts related to continuing education programs.
  7. Generate revenue by identifying and developing investment opportunities in continuing education programs.
  8. Monitor partner and beneficiary satisfaction with the services provided and identify opportunities for improvement.
  9. Prepare periodic reports on partnerships, marketed programs, revenue, and performance indicators, and submit them to the relevant administration.
  10. Prepare periodic reports on the Unit’s activities, achievements, progress, performance indicators, and challenges; submit them to the relevant administration; and propose solutions and opportunities for continuous improvement and development.
