The Institutional Excellence Unit, operating under the Vice Deanship for the Female Students’ Campus at the Deanship of Development and Quality, King Khalid University, is responsible for developing and implementing the institutional excellence framework in accordance with national and international excellence models and leading excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across the University. The Unit manages institutional self-assessment processes, monitors performance indicators and strategic initiatives, prepares institutional reports and studies, and coordinates submissions for institutional excellence awards. It also promotes a culture of excellence and innovation, encourages the adoption of local and international best practices, and provides technical support and consultancy services to colleges and other University entities, thereby enhancing organizational performance and advancing institutional excellence.
- Develop and implement the institutional excellence framework in accordance with national and international excellence models.
- Lead institutional excellence and improvement initiatives across the University.
- Manage institutional self-assessment processes in accordance with recognized excellence models.
- Develop and monitor institutional performance indicators related to excellence.
- Prepare the Deanship’s annual report, and monitor and analyze its achievements and performance indicators.
- Monitor the implementation of the Deanship’s strategic initiatives, assess their impact, and submit periodic progress reports.
- Manage submissions for institutional excellence awards and excellence programs.
- Conduct institutional studies and analyze opportunities for improvement and development.
- Promote a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement across the University.
- Identify, transfer, and implement best practices at the local, regional, and international levels.
- Provide technical support and consultancy services to colleges and other University entities in implementing institutional excellence models.
- Prepare periodic reports on the Unit’s activities, achievements, progress, performance indicators, and challenges; submit them to the relevant administration; and propose solutions and opportunities for continuous improvement and development.
