About the Office
The Continuing Education Office at the Deanship of Development and Quality, King Khalid University, is dedicated to developing continuing education and professional and executive programs that respond to community and labor market needs. The Office develops policies, strategic plans, and operational plans, and oversees the design and delivery of educational and training programs, ensuring their quality and evaluating their impact. It also establishes partnerships with government, private-sector, and nonprofit organizations, provides training and consultancy services, and promotes investment in professional programs, thereby supporting the University’s financial sustainability and enhancing the quality of continuing education services.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and update continuing education policies, strategic plans, and operational plans, and oversee their implementation.
- Lead and advance the University’s continuing education system and professional and executive programs in alignment with community and labor market needs.
- Oversee the development and design of educational and training programs, ensure their quality, and evaluate their impact.
- Establish and manage partnerships with government, private-sector, and nonprofit organizations, and promote continuing education programs and services.
- Provide training and consultancy services and promote investment in professional programs to contribute to the University’s financial sustainability.
- Monitor performance, prepare reports and performance indicators, and enhance services in accordance with local and international best practices.
