University President Launches “Internal Auditor” Program to Advance Institutional Excellence
His Excellency the President of King Khalid University, Prof. Dr. Faleh bin Raja Allah Al-Sulami, officially launched the “Internal Auditor” Program on Sunday. The program is delivered by the Deanship of Development and Quality in collaboration with the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), in the presence of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Saad bin Mohammed bin Dajam. This initiative reflects the University’s strategic commitment to strengthening institutional excellence frameworks and advancing their practical implementation.
The program marks a significant step in the University’s ongoing efforts to build national capacity by preparing qualified internal auditors with the competencies required to apply institutional excellence standards, assess organizational performance, and identify areas for improvement using well-established scientific methodologies. These efforts contribute to fostering a sustainable and high-performing institutional environment.

Commenting on the launch, Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Hadi Al-Ghamdi, Dean of the Deanship of Development and Quality, emphasized that the program represents a progressive milestone in advancing excellence practices across the University. He highlighted its role in strengthening institutional capabilities to conduct effective self-assessments, manage performance indicators with professionalism, and translate evaluation outcomes into impactful development initiatives.
